Fortuna Apple Harvest Festival

Fortuna

The Apple Harvest Festival includes an old fashioned downtown fair with Main Street open only to walking traffic to accommodate the street sale, pie sales, a barbecue, live music at Rohner Park and more. Free hayride transportation will shuttle guests from one venue to the next while enjoying the wonderful October weather in Fortuna.

Clendenen’s Cider Works will be hosting narrated tours through their apple orchard, Applewood BBQ, vendor booths, live music, cider and a wide variety of apples.

Main Street will be alive with vendors, crafts, apple products, Texas BBQ, a bounce house and music.

The Fortuna Fire Department will be having an open house from 10am - 4pm with information booths, displays, fire truck rides  and more.

The highlight of this year’s event will be the Speeder Car rides from Clendenen’s to 8th St.,

Clendenen’s Cider Works, which remains family owned and operated, is pulling out all the stops this year with celebrations throughout the entire month of October, including entertainment every Saturday.

Their farm is open mid-August through January with the picking season ending in late November or early December. Besides making pure, delicious unpasteurized cider, they sell exceptionally tasty apples as well.

Almost 30 varieties of apples are grown at the farm, so there certainly is something to suit every taste.
