Time: 6 - 8:30 p.m. • Location: Redwood Village Shopping Center: Activities include: Wax hands, bounce house, face painting, horse rides by Korobi Stables, Western-themed kids’ costume contest with prizes, Free candy walk, HealthSPORT demonstrations, Cobra & Butterfly demonstrations, Polynesian BBQ by Vainuku Kitchen/Sammy’s BBQ, Sidewalk chalk, Fireman’s muster for the kids and more!

Welcome to the 2014 Fortuna Rodeo Week. As you can see we have a week packed full of inexpensive fun and excitement for the whole family. For 93 years the friendly city of Fortuna has been hosting the Fortuna Rodeo and our community is proud of the ongoing traditions, established back in 1921.
This year we honor Albert and Betty Hunt as the Grand Marshalls of the Fortuna Rodeo. Al and Betty have lived and ranched in Humboldt County all their lives as have their families for generations. Please join me in congratulating them for their many contributions to this place we call home.
As always the Fortuna Rodeo would not be possible without a concerted effort between the Fortuna Rodeo Association, Fortuna Volunteer Fire Department, Fortuna Chamber of Commerce and the City of Fortuna. We hope you enjoy this year’s festivities celebrating “Ranching, Farming and Rodeo a Family Tradition”.
