Fourth of July Street Fair/Fireworks

Old Town/Downtown Eureka

Eureka Main Street announced today plans for their annual 4th of July Festival. The Eureka Main Street 4th of July Festival, is scheduled from 10a.m.-5 p.m. on July 4th in historic Old Town, Eureka.

The festival spans six city blocks along Second Street. Vendor booths will feature a wide variety of foods, crafts, commercial items, fine art and community groups getting the word out about their organizations. There will be classic cars, kids activities, petting zoo, fire trucks, bounce house, horse & carriage rides, wood wars, Johnston Amusement Carnival (foot of D Street) and much more.

Live music will be featured on two stages, classic cars, kids activities, fire trucks, and a kids carnival at the foot of “D” Street. This year’s music line-up at the Old Town Square stage, Jim Lahman Band, Tahitian Dancers, Ya Habibi Dance, Redwood Dixieland Gators, Doug Fir & the 2x4s , John David Young Trio; featured at the Mantova’s Two Street Music (2nd and C Street) stage, will be Fogliner, Lindsay Battle, The M Notes, Redwood Dixieland Gators.

Humboldt Hardware will be hosting a woodworking stage at 2nd & G Street featuring wood wars. Wood working demonstrations from 11-4pm including chain saw carver, hammer & chizle and wood turning. Special children’s games & crafts from 11-1pm. Upcycle competition at 2pm.

The Eureka Summer Concert: High Bars – Old Cars Show will also be taking place on 4th of July at the Foot of C Street from 4-9pm. The biggest, baddest summer concert ever features The Hot Rods and is sponsored by Rocky’s Off Road, Eureka Trading Company, Perterson’s Collison Repair, Hilfiker Pipe Company, Cool 105.5 FM and the City of Eureka. Free admission.

Please remember NO \FIREWORKS OF ANY KIND are permitted in Old Town, and the laws will be strictly enforced. We want to keep this a safe and fun holiday for everyone.

A fireworks show is planned to take place over Humboldt Bay at 10 pm. Donations are still being sought for the fireworks show. Make direct contributions to City of Eureka, 531 K Street, Attn: Suzanne.
