Godawari, Nepal fund raiser
“A local fundraiser for Godawari, a remote village of Nepal. This community has been ravaged by the two 7+ magnitude earthquakes, as has the entire country. We understand that the majority of relief efforts are being focused on more densely populated areas; so we figured to choose a small village that our own local community can make an impact on!
We ask that Humboldt come out and support a noble cause by participating in this yard sale. Support can come in the forms of: donating monies directly to the Coast Central account #198-714 S7.1 (this can be done at any Coast Central branch) by donating quality gently used items for the high end yard sale and by coming out and purchasing items for the cause. 100% of proceeds are going to the direct relief volunteer agency led by Krishna Silwal, a resident and respected elder of Godawari.
Gently used quality items will be accepted for donation on Friday June 5th from 1-5 pm PLEASE do not dump items as this is a private residence.
When: Saturday June 6th from 9am - 4 pm
