Local Filmmaker’s Night

On Thursday, November 14th, Local Filmmakers Night series will be featuring the works of Montel Vanderhorck, HSU graduate, and digital media professor at College of the Redwoods. The evening’s title, “Plays Well with Others,” is inspired by Vander Horck’s love for teamwork and rooted in his theater background. Vander Horck partnered with other filmmakers on a variety of projects from the award winning short “Leftshoe the Bunny Slipper”, and the feature length “Where There’s Smoke. The Event will be held at the Eureka High School Lecture Hall on Humboldt and K Sts. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m., screening starts at 7 p.m. Admission is $5 per person and all are welcome to attend.
