MarchFourth Marching Band
The First installment of Arts in the Quad will feature the music of Oregon’s MarchFourth Marching Band.
This mobile big band spectacular (known as M4 to fans) is a sonic party of electric bass, a diverse percussion ensemble and a brassy horn section, and a visual kaleidoscope of costumed dancing beauties, acrobatic stilt walkers, fire arts (venue permitting), hula-hoopers, and many more theatrics. The sound is huge, melodic, and dynamic, taking audiences on a musical journey around the globe.
MarchFourth Marching Band appeals to a wide range of people and has played hundreds of shows in all kinds of venues, including music festivals ( Bumbershoot, Lightning in a Bottle, Oregon Country Fairl), and high-profile concert venues (Hollywood Bowl, Crystal Ballroom, Kennedy Center for Performing Arts), and more!
