Join Sanctuary Forest & Whitethorn Winery for a Memorial Day Wine Tasting Fundraiser! We’ll be celebrating at Whitethorn Construction on May 27th & 28th from 1-5pm with delightful wines for tasting and buying, as well as barbecuing delicious sausages. A $5 cover charge gets you a Sanctuary Forest wine glass and a tasting of Whitethorn Winery’s latest offerings. Stop by and buy some raffle tickets for a chance to win: 1: A Glamping Rental donated by Wayward Glamping, 2: A Local Plane Ride, or 3: A Tailgate BBQ donated by Pierson Building Center. Raffle tickets are $2 each, 3 for $5, or 15 for $20. We’ll also have t-shirts and wine for sale by the glass. We’re proud to offer music from local favorites Skyline Swing, The Thornbirds, Marisa & George, and Delaney Rose. Proceeds will benefit Sanctuary Forest’s work to conserve key tributaries to the Mattole River headwaters and restore healthy summer streamflows for fish, wildlife, and our community. Support Sanctuary Forest while relishing some of Whitethorn Winery’s finest releases. Come to the beautiful Mattole River valley and enjoy good wine, good food and good company—all for a good cause.
