Motherlode New Years Eve
A 10 piece funk train hailing from the beautiful north coast of California in the Redwoods of Humboldt County lays Motherlode.
Since the bands’ inception in 2012 these funky pioneers have been blazing the trail and sharing the stage with such legends as Fred Wesley, Bill Summers and DJ Logic.
The band features all three on their new album entitled “All in Good Time”. Sounding like equal parts 70’s soundtrack-funk ala James Brown and The Funky Meters. Add a dash of Fela Kuti and a bit of Daptone-like soul and you hit the Motherlode.
