Cecils New Orleans Bistro

On Friday June 19, Planet Four returns to Cecil’s New Orleans Bistro in Garberville and its comfortable, intimate setting, Vocalist Beth Wells steps out with back-up from bassist Peter Weissman, percussionist Orlando Morales, trombonist Jimmy Durchslag and co-leader, multi-instrumentalist Andy Barnett. Dedicated to tight arrangements, intimate expression and just plain fun, the group’s stellar sound draws from years of experience and musical diversity. Planet Four incorporates many styles into their orbit including original funk and jazz and their take on classics by Jesse Colin Young, Bonnie Raitt, the Ramones and others. Music starts at 7:30. No cover charge.
