Join Humboldt State University College Democrats and North Coast Young Democrats as we host Politics and Pints!

This fundraiser is being held to send our members to the 2014 California Democrats State Convention in LA.

What is Politics and Pints?
Simply put, a Politics themed Jeopardy game held in a bar.

What is Jeopardy?
Jeopardy is a quiz competition in which contestants are presented with general knowledge clues in the form of answers, and must phrase their responses in question form. Our categories are all about politics.

If this event is in a bar, can we drink?
YES! We encourage those 21 and over to drink. Not 21? Come anyway! You are not allowed to drink alcohol - but in our opinion that may give you the advantage.

How can I participate?
Come and have your political knowledge tested. There will be teams of 5 contestants who will battle for the grand prize.

How much does it cost?
The participation fee for an individual is $5 and we will put you on a team. Student at HSU? Bring your Student ID and your participation fee is only $3.

What if I have a team in mind?
Register with a team of 5 players and the fee is only $20 per team.

Is there a prize if I win?
YES! We have an awesome grand prize for the First Place team! And some not-so-awesome-but-it’s-still-free prizes for the second and third place teams!
