Humboldt County Library

Former California State Librarian Susan Hildreth will be giving a lecture entitled “Rising to the Challenge: Re-Envisioning Public Libraries,” in the Eureka library’s large meeting room. Hildreth served as State Librarian from 2004 to 2009, the director of the Institute of Museum and Library Services from 2011 to January 2015 and a member of the Aspen Institute from March 2015 to the present, where she focuses on outreach concerning the futures of libraries.
