It’s an ordinary autumn day at Belmont College. But when a black student reports a racial hate note pinned to his dormitory room door, everything starts to spin out of control. SPINNING INTO BUTTER, Rebecca Gilman’s award-winning play about unconscious bias, directed by Cassandra Hesseltine and presented by HSU Theatre: Thursdays through Saturdays, February 27-March 1, March 6-8 at 7:30 p.m., with a 2 p.m. matinee on Sunday March 9 in Gist Hall Theatre at HSU. Tickets from the HSU Ticket Office (826-3928) or at the door. A limited number of free seats for HSU students at each performance.
