Fat Tuesday Pancake Supper

St. Alban’s Episcopal Church

St. Alban’s Episcopal Church invites the community to join them at its annual Fat Tuesday Pancake supper and pancake flipping contest with a performance of the Arcata Interfaith Gospel Choir Ensemble at 5:30 p.m. The pancake supper, with all the fixins’, will follow between 6:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. St. Alban’s is located at 1675 Chester Avenue, Arcata, in the Sunny Brae neighborhood. Cost is sliding scale: Children under 12 $5 to $7; Adult $7 to $10; Family maximum $20. The Arcata Interfaith Gospel Choir Ensemble is a group of 12 versatile singers from the Arcata Interfaith Gospel Choir who sing a variety of music including the gospel repertoire and other music. Funds benefit sending a delegation to Haiti from St. Alban’s Episcopal Church to a three day conference commemorating the reconstruction of the Haitian Episcopal Cathedral and the important work done by the Episcopal Church in Haiti. One of the goals of the delegation will be developing a relationship with one Haitian parish so that north coast residents can help our connection to our ministry in Haiti. The Haitian diocese of the Episcopal Church is the largest in the western hemisphere with over 83,700 members with 60 parishes, schools and hospitals. Saint Alban’s welcomes LGTB people.
