Athletic movements and vibrant costumes meet explosive taiko drumming and innovative, contemporary choreography in Tao. A thrilling, high-energy modern take on this ancient art form, Tao is performed by men and women who have trained for years in the mountains of Japan. The “samurai percussionists” of Tao dance and play a variety of instruments, but it’s their awesome drums that have truly mesmerized audiences and critics from around the world.
