Arcata Recreation brings to the community a social tennis night on the courts at Larson Park, 901 Grant Avenue in Arcata, hosted by a Certified Tennis Professional. Beginning Friday, September 11 from 7 -9 p.m. (weather depending) and each Friday thereafter, ages 18 - 40 years gather for a two-hour night of fun for individuals who want to learn how to play tennis or continue to develop their skills. Expect fun drills and games with players separated based on ability. All skill levels are welcomed and encouraged. Look forward to theme nights. Just bring a tennis racquet, a good attitude and be prepared to meet new people around town or see familiar faces on the tennis court. Fee: Drop-in for $3/person – pay on site.
