First California Bookstore Day

On May 3rd join residents around the state to celebrate your local independent bookstore during California Bookstore Day (CBD). Eureka Books will have select books and art created solely for this event, which are only available at participating stores. One of the books is, The Sleeper and the Spindle, by Neil Gaiman. Customers can enter to win a stuffed CBD bear during open hours from 10am-9pm on Saturday. Wine will be served during Arts Alive from 6-9pm by the Humboldt Literacy Project.
