PRESS RELEASE: March 2015 Wildlife Fest and Gallery Opening Wildlife In Willow Creek Studio 299 Center for the Arts, in conjunction with Creekside Arts and Education, will host the 2015 Wildlife Fest in Willow Creek on Saturday March 28th. This free event is family friendly, with something for wildlife lovers of all ages. The Wildlife Fair opens at noon, with Creekside Arts and Education offering lunch available for purchase. Joe Duckett, better known as Nature Joe, will be bringing his educational and entertaining animal exhibits including birds, reptiles and more. The Studio will also open their doors at noon. The gallery this month will feature wildlife art from a variety of local artists: Darell Warnock will present his wildlife photography with an astounding array of images. Rheanne Lima will be exhibiting her nature photographs and other local artists will be represented in drawing, candles and wood working. An artist’s opening and reception will be held from 12:00 to 4:00 p.m. Meet the artists, enjoy complementary refreshments and support the arts in the Trinity River Valley. Studio 299 is a non-profit community group devoted to the promotion and development of the arts and arts education in the Klamath and Trinity communities of Northern California. The gallery and gift shop is located at 75 The Terrace in Willow Creek. Regular hours for the gallery and gift shop are Saturdays from 1:00 to 4:00pm. Completed in 2012, the multipurpose gallery offers an attractive location for the community to come together at monthly openings, open mike nights, and special events and during gallery hours.
