Eagle Prairie Art’s District
Arts on the Avenue (Santa’s Workshop) December 13th from 6-8pm Downtown Rio Dell Sponsored by The Eagle Prairie Arts District, Rio Dell - Scotia Chamber of Commerce and The Humboldt Area Foundation. The Eagle Prairie Arts District, in cooperation with the Rio Dell - Scotia Chamber of Commerce, puts on a monthly art walk every second Saturday of the month. Titled, Arts on the Avenue, each month has a different theme or event associated with the art walk. On Saturday December 13th, Arts on the Avenue’s theme will be “Santa”s Workshop.” Local artisans will be hosting art workshops at local downtown merchants. Each workshop will cost $3.00 and you may purchase tickets at the EPAD Gallery on the evening of the 13th. All ages are welcome! There will be a wood turning workshop, pottery, rope tying and weaving, photography, folk art painting, sewing and decorative cookie making! Local merchants will also be having sales and staying open late! Participants will be able to take their work home, or pick it up at the Arts Districts offices at a later date. The participating businesses are as follows: Phat Rabbit Boutique, Rio Dell Pizza factory, Rio Dell Arte’, Dias Arts and the Wildwood Smoke Shop and of course Eagle Prairie Arts District.
