Early Morning Car v. Telephone Pole Crash Takes Out Power to Pine Hill, Elk River Road Areas

A car rammed a telephone pole on Elk River Road this morning just after 4 a.m., killing power to more than 500 homes in the area. 

As of this writing, PG&E has restored light to most of those customers. Everyone should be back up by 9:30 a.m., according to current estimates. Follow updates below.
