…UNSEASONABLY COLD STORM TO BRING HEAVY WET SNOW ABOVE 2500 FEET SATURDAY MORNING…

* WHAT…Wet snow above 2500 feet. Additional snow accumulations up to one inch.

* WHERE…Trinity County, Humboldt Interior, Del Norte Interior, and Northeastern Mendocino Interior.

* WHEN…Until 11 AM PDT this morning.

* IMPACTS…Travel delays due to slick roads and reduced visibilities. Brief chain controls are possible Saturday morning.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Hourly snowfall rates around one inch an hour are highly probable (greater than a 70% chance) Saturday morning. Snow levels are most uncertain and could vary to as low as 2000 feet to as high as 3500 feet.
