HIGH PRESSURE POSITIONED OVER THE WEST COAST WILL MAINTAIN HOT TEMPERATURES AROUND THE FORECAST AREA ONCE AGAIN TODAY…ESPECIALLY AT INLAND LOCATIONS. TODAY IS EXPECTED TO BE THE HOTTEST DAY OF THIS WARM SPELL WITH SOME COOLING EXPECTED BY THURSDAY. WIDESPREAD HIGH TEMPERATURES IN THE 90S ARE FORECAST TODAY FOR THE INLAND AREAS…WITH THE WARMEST INTERIOR VALLEYS EXPECTED TO REACH OR EXCEED 100 DEGREES. HIGH TEMPERATURES FOR TODAY AND TOMORROW ALONG THE COAST ARE FORECAST TO RANGE FROM THE MID 70S TO MID 80S. ANYONE WHO WILL BE WORKING OR SPENDING TIME OUTSIDE TODAY OR THURSDAY SHOULD BE PREPARED FOR VERY WARM TO HOT CONDITIONS. WHEN POSSIBLE…RESCHEDULE STRENUOUS ACTIVITIES TO EARLY MORNING OR EVENING.
