High Speed Chase on Dyerville Loop Rd. Now—Speeder May have Crashed

Kym Kemp / Sunday, Feb. 3, 2013 @ 12:22 a.m. / Crime

UPDATE 12:38 A.M.: Vehicle is now located one and a half miles up Dyerville Loop Rd.(apparently without the driver.)  This doesn’t appear to be a crash.  Possibly the suspect ditched the car?

Original Post

A high speed chase on Dyerville Loop Rd.  appears to have resulted in an accident.  The chase started when a vehicle saw law enforcement (probably sheriff) and turned around racing off at a high rate of speed. At one point the vehicle (possibly a dark truck) braked, then gunned it “spitting rocks onto my windshield.”  The officer then reported that his windshield was cracked.

The officer then reported, “Subject drove off the roadway down a hill.”
