PREVIOUSLY: Local Man Arrested in Connection With McKinleyville Suspected Homicide

The suspect in the case, Michael Raymond Youravish, is being arraigned in court this morning.

From the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office:

On Saturday June 22, 2013 an autopsy was performed on the victim of this suspected homicide. At the conclusion of the autopsy the cause of death was determined to be as a result of multiple stab wounds to the neck, chest and abdomen of the victim. 

The identity of the victim has been determined to be Forrest Croft Lovejoy (07-02-1979), resident of McKinleyville, California.  The suspect, Michael Raymond Youravish, remains in custody at the Humboldt County Correctional Facility, who had an arraignment on Friday June 21, 2013 for the charge of Homicide.
