PREVIOUSLY: ‘Home Invasion’ — Woman Shot/Man Beaten — Details Still Emerging

From the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office:

On Tuesday June 25, 2013 at about 9:00 AM, Detectives from the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office, with the assistance of the Eureka Police Department, served a search warrant on a residence in the 600 block of 16th Street, Eureka. The residence was believed to have been the primary residence of Logan Corey Bremer (07-08-1982).

Bremer was not at the residence at the time of search warrant service, as he was in custody at the Humboldt County Correctional Facility for an arrest made by the Eureka Police Department on suspicion of a vehicle pursuit and parole violation (06-25-2013).

Bremer is considered to be a person of interest or potential witness in the attempt homicide investigation that occurred in the Dinsmore area on 06-11-2013 (prior release attached). Bremer has not been arrested by the Sheriff’s Office, in relation to this investigation.
