Trinity County Sheriff Press Release:

On March 3, 2013 at approximately 7:00 pm a Trinity County Sheriff’s Deputy and a California Fish and Game Warden conducted a traffic stop on USFS Road 30N30, North of Highway 36 in Hayfork for a traffic violation. During the stop the Officers detected the odor of marijuana emitting from in the vehicle. During the search of the vehicle the Officer located 33 pounds of processed marijuana. Vang and Her were arrested and booked into the Trinity County Jail on 182 PC, Conspiracy to Commit Crime; 11359 HS, Possess Marijuana for sale; and 11360 HS, Transportation of Marijuana and are being held on $30,000.00 bail.
