Moments ago, Eureka Police Department Det. Ron Harpham confirmed to the Lost Coast Outpost that the department now considers Bodhi Tree, suspect in last weekend’s double homicide in Arcata, as a “person of interest” in a shooting near Eureka High School last week.
Harpham said that the person the department originally suspected in the shooting has now been cleared. Meanwhile, there is some evidence linking Tree to the crime, but, in his words, “not enough to reach probable cause.”
