From the Eureka Police Department:
On 11.14.13, officers and detectives of the Eureka Police Department arrested the suspect in the pellet gun shooting that occurred near the Eureka High School campus last Thursday.
Officers and detectives have been following all leads in this case since the incident and have been greatly assisted by our community partners in the neighborhood watches in the area and by Eureka High School staff.
Arrested was Christian John Kay, 18 year old Eureka resident. Kay is being charged with a violation of Penal Code section 245(a)(1) Assault with a Deadly Weapon. Kay was booked into the Humboldt County Correctional Facility.
