UPDATE 10/3:  Last Night Raid on Sprowl Creek Rd. Related to Yesterday’s Arrests in Carlotta [UPDATED with Photos]

UPDATE 6:52 P.M.: Channel 3 has video. They say over a 100 pounds of processed marijuana that the grow appears to have been manned by transients squatting in an unoccupied home.

The Humboldt Co. Sheriff office has confirmed a reader’s report that a warrant is being served on Golden Gate Drive near Carlotta. Lt. Steve Knight, the public information officer for the department, said that he won’t release more information until tomorrow.

However, a reader near the scene reports that there approximately seven law enforcement vehicles went into the area in question. According to the reader, these vehicles include “a couple of undercovers [and] a truck with a trailer.”

The reader described law enforcement at the scene by saying, “[T]hey were pulling apart greenhouses, and going through the houses.” At around 1:30 P.M., the reader said, “[T]hey just took off two or three people in a sheriff van.”
