If you haven’t noticed, LoCO is maybe taking a little too much glee in its updates relating to the coming downpour. Of course, you should absolutely heed the tips provided by local agencies to best endure the rains, but there’s also something exciting about a big storm, right? Like you, LoCO thinks storms are fun.

Well, that is to say we were having fun, until we clicked over to the National Weather Service’s website and noticed that there is a literal water beast hovering just off Humboldt’s coast that will soon consume us all!
