Lt. Steve Knight of the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office confirms that his agency is currently assisting the federal Drug Enforcement Agency on a raid on Simmons Lane in Cutten. They’ve been out there since late morning, according to Lost Coast Outpost readers.

Knight said he had no information whether today’s expedition to the wilds of Cutten is in any way related to the DEA-led raid in Scotia earlier in the week.
