Several suspects wielding handguns and a shotgun robbed two residents in a trailer this morning on Friday Ridge Road near Willow Creek . Three men and one woman stole cash, guns and other unspecified property from the trailer before escaping in a black Lincoln LS.
Sergent Bryan Taylor of the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office told the Outpost that two armed men dressed in black hoodies entered the residence between 7:30 and 8 a.m. and fled the scene in the Lincoln sedan, which was also stolen from the property.
According to scanner traffic, the robbery took place at a marijuana grow. However, Taylor said the Sheriff’s Office is still obtaining information and it is unclear if any marijuana was stolen from the property.
The stolen four-door sedan has Indiana license plates and tinted windows. The California Highway Patrol is handling the stolen-vehicle side of the case.
