Windy conditions are expected with tonight’s storm with gusts ranging from 25-40 mph along the immediate cost and higher elevations. Valley winds will be slightly lighter with peak gusts making it to near 30 mph.

The National Weather Service of Eureka reports that an incoming storm will dump half an inch, to an inch of rain on Humboldt County between tonight and tomorrow.

There’s a 50 percent chance of rain after 11 p.m. tonight, and a 100 percent chance of rain on Monday, with periods of heavy showers.

Humboldt County will see wind speeds of 11 to 21 mph, with gusts up to 25 mph.

Chances of rain and cloudy skies will continue throughout the week.
