Huffman

Our man in D.C. is coming to Arcata this week to chat with local constituents about making “forward progress in today’s new political climate.” (Subtext: TRUMP!)

The Huff doesn’t mention our new commander-in-chief by name in promo materials for this gathering, but he has already established that he’s no fan of Trump’s early actions on the job. In his online invitation, Huffman merely says, “I look forward to answering your questions and sharing my priorities for representing California’s North Coast in the 115th Congress.”

Here’s the official press release from Congressma Huffman’s office:

On Thursday, February 23rd, Congressman Jared Huffman (D-San Rafael) will hold his next community town hall meeting at the Arcata High School Fine Arts Center in California’s 2nd Congressional District where he will discuss how to make forward progress in today’s new political climate.

He will answer questions and share his plans and priorities for best representing California’s North Coast in Congress. This meeting is free and open to the public.

Constituents can RSVP and find additional information about the program here: https://townhall-humboldtcounty.eventbrite.com

Please contact Huffman’s Eureka District Office at (707) 407-3585 or email Huffman.CAScheduling@mail.house.gov with any questions.
