WWE superstar, best-selling author and stand-up comedian Mick Foley seemed to enjoy his time in Humboldt County.

Foley Tweeted a photo of himself taking in the sights along the Humboldt coast before his sold-out show at the Savage Henry Comedy Club in Eureka on Saturday.

“Hello from beautiful Eureka, California,” Foley wrote. “Tonight’s show has been sold out for over three months — and the atmosphere should be electric!”

While Foley currently earns his living as a traveling storyteller/comedian, the 56-year-old is best known for his decades of work in the ring as wrestling personalities Cactus Jack, Dude Love and Mankind.

Savage Henry owner Chris Durant told the Outpost that Foley enjoyed his time in Humboldt so much that he said plans to return for future shows.

“The dude has so much respect for his fans,” Durant said. “Nice to see that it’s genuine.”
