The Eureka Garden Tour
5. The Gardens of Edie Nelson
Next stop on the tour was the garden at Edie Nelson’s on E Street. This yard was essentially divided into three “rooms” by hedges. The first of the rooms is a small cemented courtyard with a fountain surrounded by perennials.
Room number two featured a fish pond surrounded by hedges, roses, peaches, and a lovely bench.
And the last room is Mrs. Nelson’s kitchen garden with a small orchard, veggies and berries. I especially loved the cat-mouth bird house!
