Humboldt Roller Derby Saplings

A couple Humboldt Roller Derby Sapling came to the studio to talk with Kim: Wendy Witte aka “Natural Disaster,” and Lauren Gagnon aka “Popper,” accompanied by Popper’s mom, appropriately named “Momma Popper.” They discussed the confidence they’ve built within themselves since they joined HRD, talk about their favorite memories on the track, and share with Kim how HRD has helped them grow during some of the most crucial years of their adolesence. Their first bout of this season is Sunday, March 20 at Redwood Acres. The first whistle is at noon and the event is FREE.
