A reader writes…

Not sure who else to contact, couldn’t find info on the outpost, but friend just came to town from titlow hill, which is currently being raided.  Have info that they’re taking 4 wheelers down any road that doesn’t have a closed locked gate.

Lt. Steve Knight of the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office tells us that this, in fact, is a thing, and it’s being led (somewhat unusually) by the Humboldt County District Attorney’s Office. The person at the DA’s office we got in touch with says that her floor is pretty empty at the moment — Chief Investigator Mike Hislop and DA Paul Gallegos himself are out in the field with their crew.

So we’re in wait-and-see mode. Y’all got anything?
