From the Eureka Police Department:

On 02/26/13, detectives from the Eureka Police Department’s Problem Oriented Policing Unit (POP) conducted a probation search at a motel in the 2400 block of Broadway in Eureka. During a search of the room, detectives located approximately 18 ½ lbs of processed and partially processed marijuana bud and over $9000.00 cash.

As a result of the investigation, Jonas Semore was arrested and transported to the Humboldt County Correctional Facility where he was booked for Possession of Marijuana for Sale and Maintaining a Space for Narcotic Activity. Additionally, Semore (age 40) is a validated member of the 18th Street criminal street gang and has multiple prior contacts with EPD over the years.
