Humboldt Co. Sheriff’s Dept. Press Release:

On 10-3-2013, approximately 4:30 a.m. the Humboldt County Sheriffs received a report of a Home Invasion Robbery that occurred approximately two miles up Brannan Mountain Road, Willow Creek. The 54 year old male victim reported three suspects wearing ski masks and gloves kicked in his front door. The victim said the suspects had guns and mace, and beat him up. The victim also reported he was injured and needed medical attention. He said the suspects tied him up before stealing his television set, wallet and other items besides several pounds of processed marijuana. He estimated he was tied up for approximately thirty minute before he was able to free himself and call law enforcement. He had no idea who the suspects were. The suspects are believed to be two males and a female, who left in a Toyota truck. No other suspect information or vehicle description is available at this time.

The victim was transported to a local hospital where he is being treated for his injuries. He is expected to make a full recovery.

The investigation is ongoing.
