Dillingham Wins Labor Support

The two largest county employee unions have endorsed Cheryl Dillingham for Auditor-Controller. The local American Federation of State County and Municipal Employees (AFSCME Local 1684), and the Humboldt Deputy Sheriffs Organization (HDSO) join a broad cross section of endorsers for Cheryl’s campaign.

Drew Redden, AFSCME Local 1684, Business Agent, wrote: “The members enthusiastically urge voters to elect … Cheryl Dillingham for Auditor-Controller, Humboldt County.”

“Untangling the accounting issues caused by the current Auditor-Controller is non-partisan and essential to the health of our community,” said HDSO President Destry Henderson. “HDSO enthusiastically supports Cheryl Dillingham for Auditor-Controller, along with almost every civic leader in our community, regardless of their political views.”

Cheryl is committed to restoring trust and stopping waste, and has spent 35 years in county and municipal government performing accounting and management duties.
