Bathroom at Redwood Park
If elected/re-elected, will you help provide a bathroom at Redwood Park for kids and families? The new park is a jewel for kids and families however there is only a poorly maintained porta-potty for kids and parents and everyone to use. A plumbed bathroom exists however it’s locked unless you pay to rent a area of the park. Please help! I consistently hear this as a major complaint of this space.

Yes!

Maybe a Portland Loo would work well there.

The City of Arcata is really good at getting grants for parks, trails, bicycle routes, etc. but those grants do not to include maintenance dollars. Measure H will provide needed funds for a maintenance person to handle the bathrooms at Carlson Park and Redwood Park.
