As an Elections Official who is administering the 2022 elections, I determined at the start of my campaign that certain endorsements would convey the appearance of partiality. Because so many of our races are determined on the basis of partisan affiliation, taking an endorsement from a qualified political party could compromise voter confidence in the elections process. 

While I still hold political views, I live and breathe No Party Preference during the elections season, serving the interests of all candidates, regardless of party affiliation or political ideology. (I discuss this more under another LOCO Election Question) 

However, in the spirit of transparency, my list of endorsements from organizations and government officials includes:

This position is non-partisan, therefore I am registered as “no party preference”.  I believe in voting for the person who will do the best job for our community, County, State and Country in each election, not based on their party, but their experience.  Elections must be conducted in a fair and impartial manner.  The Recorder’s Office is a non-political office.

I did not pursue an endorsement by any political party, nor did I receive any based on a political party.  My endorsements were provided by Real Estate professionals, Land Surveyors, Friends and family.
