How can you help the eureka homelessness to clean our streets?

John Shelter and his company New Directions is a perfect example of what the City of Eureka should be doing more of.    Shelter hires the homeless and gives them a job thereby teaching vital job skills and work habits.  At the same time we could be cleaning up areas of the city that are neglected.

I would encourage the city to hire his company to do cleanups and this would be a win/win for the city & for those of the homeless who want to improve their situation.
