Lowdown: Eureka Allowing Bands to Play on Mondays Now

After a weekend enhanced by sexy Mother Nature at the Summer Arts and Music Festival and Humboldt Crabs opening weekend, Humboldt fun moves indoors for Monday night, specifically for a couple musical allowances in Eureka:

  • The Shanty Dog being laboriously digested by your gut won’t be the only heaviness to be found in Old Town’s ping pong arena this evening. Both psychedelic veteran road warriors Dead Meadow and local drone lords White Manna will mainline much-effected guitar tones directly into your PBR-wrecked bloodstream at The Shanty. Stroll through some Dead Meadow in advance in the clip below.
  • If big amps and big floor toms intimidate you, The Palm Lounge is featuring a folk punkmericana double bill consisting of local faves Gunsafe and Ellensburg, Washington brethren Robber’s Roost. Also, air hockey.
