Masters, black belts and baby dragons—martial artists from around the United States are coming to Southern Humboldt tomorrow for a Tang Soo Do tournament at South Fork High School in Miranda.  Grandmaster Jae C. Shin has flown in from the East Coast to be here for this special Region 1 event.

For those of you into watching superior martial artists, black belt competition starts at 8 a.m.  This will be followed by an opening ceremony between 10 and 11 (my little guy along with 3 other little ones will be leading The Five Codes-too cute) Then will come demo team competitions—usually the crowd favorites!  This year our local team is going to be doing a spectacular  performance to the music of Pirates of the Caribbean.  Kids love this show.  Following this  the lower ranked students will compete until around 3 pm.
