One of the Prettiest Towns in America™ is without electricity. KSLG’s John Matthews reports that 1,444 PG&E customers between the Eel River and Centerville Beach have been without electricity for an hour.
The cause of the outage, and therefore the estimated time of restoration, are still unknown.
UPDATE, 11:02 a.m.: Matthews spoke with Brandi Ehlers of PG&E a little while ago. There are still 371 customers in the Ferndale area without power, which should be restored by noon. Audio follows:
