– Apparently, the BLM and the Humboldt County Drug Task Force believes someone may be growing weed up around Ettersburg. A convoy rolled up that way today to serve a warrant, and in the process a BLM ranger crashed his ATV. He’s gonna be OK.

– Ferndale newshound Caroline Titus, she of the Ferndale Enterprise , brings the scoop on Cream City’s very own catastrophic slide (pictured above). But because we do things differently, it’s not so much your classic, commonplace landslide as what Titus dubs a “debris torrent.”

– Shirley Fuller, assistant to Security National gazillionaire and assertive critic of local government Rob Arkley, has filed a pretty large Public Records Act request apparently aimed at uncovering the Humboldt Herald anonyblogger, and finding out who his/her sources might be in county government. Also, the Fuller request apparently hopes to uncover who in government might have said something about Humboldt Economic Land Plan, an Arkley-funded “group” opposed to the county’s general plan update.
