The body found in the Eel River near McCann has been identified as Edward Jensen Jr. who has been missing since mid April.  He wasn’t reported as missing for another 2 weeks.  He was last seen after leaving a residence in the Larabee Creek subdivision near Blocksburg not long after having an argument. (Here for more.)  His unidentified body was then found July 28th. The Times Standard then reported that the body was determined to be the result of a homicide. (See here.) Jensen was 54 at the time of his death and is from Santa Rosa. (See here for more.)
