Press Release:

The Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office is continuing its investigation into the case of a missing man from the Salmon Creek area of Southern Humboldt.  On February 9, 2011 concerned family members reported that Kyle Whitney, 32, had not been seen since January 23, 2011.  Whitney was last seen at his residence on Thomas Rd.  Relatives of Whitney also reported that it is extremely out of character for Whitney to be gone without notifying someone.  Sheriff’s Deputies searched for Whitney near his residence and did not locate him or his vehicle.
