Aww, c’mon, admit it.  You and your kids love a fair with cheesy rides, unhealthy food, and tacky prizes.  What’s summer without at least one afternoon making yourself sick?  Right now at the Fortuna Park you can enjoy a carnival and when you are ready for even more Americana visit the rodeo which is right next door.

Yesterday, between dentist appointments and Harry Potter, my oldest son and my youngest crammed a lot of fun into 45 minutes. It only wet our whistle for the Humboldt Co. Fair this August.

We had a blast and wished we had more time.
